I am the guy who does anything for his friends. You call, I am there. Need a ride somewhere - I'm driving. Then suddenly, when I lax a bit about some small shit - nothing but endless grief, like I fucked his mother or something. Fuck - such pettiness, over my choice of footwear to a dinner.
Fuck, he really needs to find more things to care about in this world. That just pisses me off that someone could get that bent out of shape about such little shit. Especially when the world is filled with such horrendous shit. Hold your friends close. Don't push them away over such little shit, or eventually you will have succeded in completley isolating yourself and will have no one left to bitch to about anything.

sorry to hear about your friend being stupid. at the same time, i've done that to friends before, and usually it has nothing to do with "wearing the wrong shoes to dinner" but more to do with something else that i am really unhappy about, whether it has to do with the offending friend or not. then again, you know your friends better than i do
