I experienced the epitome of callousness today. My landlord had called saying someone was coming over to look at the place because they were thinking of buying it. We thought nothing of it because our last apartment building was sold while we lived there and nothing came of it. Well anyway this dude shows up while we were sitting down to dinner, kin of annoying but nothing worth bloodshed. Then his KIDS walk in... Next thing we know the kids are walking around upstairs saying "I want this to be my room daddy!" We were all in shock. The douche-bag was walking around taking pictures of shit and saying he'd have to pull out this and refinish that so his mother could get around, like he already owned the place and lived there!!! I have never been so close to stabbing someone in the neck with a fork in my life. I just could not believe the nerve of this jackass. Afterward our landlord told us that he didn't realize A) the morons intentions. and B) that he was a fucking retard with no common sense. I mean how would he like it if we walked in and started laying claim to his house while he was eating dinner? The kicker was when his spawn asked him if they were going to stay for dinner!!! It took all my restraint not to rip them all to piece.
Our landlord also told us that he was asking an insane amount for the place and doesn't think the guy can afford it, but apparently the dude thinks he can or he wouldn't have come to look at the place. Anyway we were told to plan to stay as long as we like but we're all still a little stressed. Well, except the boys they are clueless, which is good. They like this place and so do we. Nice neighborhood, quiet streets, big yard. And the elementary school is less than a block away. Right next to the grocery store. I mean you really can't get much better than that. Besides which moving is a massive pain in the dick. Especially for me and my brother since we do most of the heavy lifting. You ever tried to get a 52in TV down a flight of stairs? Not something i want to do again EVER!!!
