that is an incredible painting (did i get the medium right? sometimes it's hard for me to tell online).

It's pastel. . .which is called painting cause it uses pigments compared to drawing which uses lead, chalk, etc and not pure pigment. Personally. . .i think they think way too much on how to classify it. . . as long as people don't say it looks like big crayons i am cool LOL
