I recently received an e-mail from YouTube saying that I have serious copyright infringements for the videos that I have posted.
My art is illegal apparently.
I cut and past videos to make them go along with the music that I put in the video. I mostly make AMV's.
I make no money from these videos.
The only thing that I wanted in return was for people to leave a comment to let me know if I did a good job or not! Now I'm being told that I may face jail time for this. I believe that music should be free. Creativity should be free. Art should be free!
No one in modern time has had a completely original idea. Everyone builds their thoughts based on the thoughts of others.
The Rolling Stones sued The Verve for their song "Bittersweet Symphony" for copyright infringement while at the same time The Rolling Stones stole the song from someone before them!
