I just read an article talking about New York legalizing gay marriage and I couldn't help but notice how many people left comments talking shit about gay people. I really don't understand how people can feel so much hatred for others just because of the gender that they are attracted to.
I have been saying for a while that religion is bad because it creates hatred and wars. Seeing as how most of those people that commented on the article were making religious references I feel like my view is now reinforced! Although that IS just my opinion.

I just don't understand how any state can ban gay marriage. Why the hell shouldn't everyone have the same rights?
