Missdates and I are having a little is dispute, at first we thought we were going to have a boy and I wanted the name Vandal Savage. She wouldn't have it. When we found out we were having a girl, the first name she wanted was Ava Bernadette. I have no problem with the name, it fact, I kind of like it.
The problem that we are running into now is I want to extend the name Ava. There is a Japanese manga book out there called Neon Genesis Evangelion
and I want to name the baby Evangelion and people would call her Ava for short, as they do in the series. And to top it off, Val-Missdates-now says we can name a son-if we ever have one-Vandal Savage. She cites the reason she doesn't want the word "lion" in the name.
All I'm asking, I know I asked a lot of you good people to settle few disputes that we have, is there anything wrong with naming your child something different?

I'm sure that everything will pan out in the end as far as the girl and I are concerned. I'd love to be with her but being her friend is also an experience in itself. She's made me a better person just by being around her and I feel better than I have in years. I'll just have to wait and see.
