So I swung by waffle house and talked to that girl again. A million and one excusses why she didn't call last night. I wasn't even upset that she didn't call. But she was sweet about it, and hugged me, and wanted to make it up to me tonight...
So she magically found her phone, but had no minutes on it, but could get texts, so said to text her.
and so when I got off work I did.

On a happier note. I am fucking done with the florida. Equipment was signed off today, my plane flies out at noon tomorrow. I've made some good friends here, and the internet will hopefully keep us all connected.
I'm a little buzzed. Had a drink at the Irish pub/restaurant here. McGuirres. Drink was called an "Irish Wake" Basically a big ass mason jar of green long island iced tea.
I sent her a text with my room number. Maybe she'll forgo all the complexities and just show up. In the half hour I got to talk to her I actually liked her too. Not just wanted to rail her.
