Getting support for new music is very hard (especially in Los Angeles where I reside). In fact, finding supportive and enthusiastic fans is growing ever harder. Finding a niche or demographic in this current musical climate is unreasonably difficult. Gee, I just thought of something... I hope we don't suck... that would be dreadful.
