So I'm going to this tattoo expo this weekend in Houston. I'll also have my daughter. @ thought/questions.

That wouldn't be inappropriate, taking her, would it?

How awesome would it be to give her a full sleeve of stick on tattoos?

well it does depend on how old she is, but i figure if she's old enough to understand it than it shouldnt be bad. but again that depends on age. the hotel i used to work at hosted a tattoo expo every year and we had people take their kids some times. i think the youngest one i saw was 7 or 8.

and a sleeve of temporary tattoos would be awesome

i would just worry about the men and women that walk around wearing pretty much nothing cus of the competitions. but it would definitely be a learning experience.

So I'm in my hotel room last night, only to be woken up by the sounds of a woman. This woman is obviously having sex. Um...what do you do in that situation?

So I drove home (finally) today. From Corpus Christi to north Houston. It's actaully a pretty nice drive. Just leaving Corpus there's a huge wind farm that's really cool to see. Probably 300 enormous windmills (or turbines, actually) is certainly impressive. I can;t help but wonder how much clean energy they're generating. Nice to see.

You know, with all the damn traveling I do, you'd think I'd go someplace cool every now and then. This time I'm in Alice, TX; which is a total shit hole of a town. Don't even bother looking it up, you aren't missing anything.

Not even worth going out to look for chicks...just me relaxing with my thoughts tonight.

i'm leaning that way too. but since the army will take me till i'm close to 40, i figure if someone is offering me in the 50-55k region i can take the job for a bit and make some money and get in better shape (not that they wouldnt already take me). i dunno. part of me just kinda wants to go enlist tomorrow

It was a sad mother's day for me. Almost 2 months since mom died.

i took a step back in the respect department? goo goo dolls are my hands down favorite band in the whole fucking world. i own every album and a boy named goo is my favorite album of all time. it's my to to album when i'm depressed and need to feel good again. ain't nothing wrong with a little goo in your life.

Man, this is so boring. I'm sitting at a oil well location, waitiing for them to do a bunch of stuff before i can do my stuff. I've been waiting out here for 4 hours now, and it looks like at least 3 before i can do anything. at least there's a good signal out here for my aircard. borrrrrrrreddddddddddddd.

Shreveport, La isn't a bad town at all. I've messed around and found some pretty cool areas. It's a very blue-collar town, which isn't a bad thing. I'd live here if I had to... Anyone else have any opinions about this place?

Shreveport is a great town.  It has all the amenities of a large city without all the hassle of a large metropolis.  It's also far from blue collar.  One of my neighbors is an heir to the Murphy Oil fortune, another neighbor is a former CEO of  United Way.
