I watched "The Road" last night.
I have to say that I measured up to the book, which I love so much. I am appreciative of the fact the the makers of the film were extremely faithful to the book...down do dialogue. Of course, there are some variances (Charlize Theron?), It was pretty spot on.
The book, and now the move, have been extremely profound to me.

I thought they were both horrible. I wanted to shoot the kid in the face. What a little whiny bitch he was. If was born in post apocalyptic times....he would have been a lot tougher. Horrible book too. Too Hemingwayish for me. Just dull.
