After seeing her, for the first time I'm starting to think that my mom might not make it. There is almost none of her old self there now, and i have no idea if it's going to come back. I hate to post a downer, but it's true. no one reads this anyway.

There are people that read this, so don't worry. I work with a ton of critical patients and there is ALWAYS hope. Keep her in your prayers...even if you aren't religious...if its meant to happen like this, she will be better off. I know its hard, but try and look for the good in this situation. I'll keep her in my prayers and if you need someone to talk to, I'm all ears
