there are few things more sublime that the night i had last night. no one else around. 3 vicodin. a bottle of cheap, but tasty red wine. mazzy star on repeat on my ipod til it was daylight. amazing.

good thing these don't fall into my lap too often.

No offense to anyone reading this, but I have to admit that I lose a little bit of respect for someone when I find out they're religious. I'm not talking about those who aren't sure, that accept the possibility of god (which I reject)...I'm talking about those that KNOW that the Xtian version of things is correct. I watched "The Road" last night.

I have to say that I measured up to the book, which I love so much. I am appreciative of the fact the the makers of the film were extremely faithful to the book...down do dialogue. Of course, there are some variances (Charlize Theron?), It was pretty spot on.

I'm really getting sick of "hopefuls" friend requesting me out of the blue.

So I just watched "The Omega Man." While much more like the book than the recent Will smith movie, it was cheesy as fuck. Although I did rather enjoy the funky-ass disco style and the soul sistah love interest. Good thing it only cost 10 bucks on Blu-Ray.

So I'm in my hotel room last night, only to be woken up by the sounds of a woman. This woman is obviously having sex. Um...what do you do in that situation?

So I drove home (finally) today. From Corpus Christi to north Houston. It's actaully a pretty nice drive. Just leaving Corpus there's a huge wind farm that's really cool to see. Probably 300 enormous windmills (or turbines, actually) is certainly impressive. I can;t help but wonder how much clean energy they're generating. Nice to see.

You know, with all the damn traveling I do, you'd think I'd go someplace cool every now and then. This time I'm in Alice, TX; which is a total shit hole of a town. Don't even bother looking it up, you aren't missing anything.
