Wow, i havent added to this blog in a long time. Granted I haven't been State-side in over 4 months now but still... So to recap: Portland was awesome, possibly one of my favorite cities that I have lived in now. I was walking distance to everything I could ever want, I had a bar across the street, it was a good 6 months.
Then December it was off to Qatar by way of Iceland and Romania. Got to spend about 15 hrs in Romania pretty much drinking my face off, good times had by all. 2 months in Qatar pretty much sucked, furthered my belief that the whole area needs to be turned into a glass parking lot. There is just too much politics going on in the region.
However the past 2 months in Djibouti have been great. The locals here are very friendly and hunting pirates actually makes me feel like im doing something worthwhile. Unfortunately its back to Qatar on friday for another 2 months of Hell before Im back to good ol Jax FL, just in time for the beach and hopefully a new house in Riverside...
