Is it just me, or is there something extremely alluring about 40's/50's style pin-ups? Photos, style, otherwise. I don't know, there's just something about the period, the style, I don't want to say the music, but, the music.
I don't even know if they qualify, but something about Volbeat's style, beats, songs, has kind of turned me on to the scene and genre of rock-a-billy/psychobilly music. I'd definitely like to explore it more, style-wise and the culture, but don't know where to start really. I have a few "work shirts", but that's about it. I've visited Daddy-os.com, looked at shirts there. Hell, I've sat here the last hour or so googling the shit and looking at other sites, but I don't know if that's the right "look," ya dig?
i would imagine that hitting up *billy events, concerts, etc, would be the best place to meet some of these types of girls (I know, reeks of creepiness, but really, it's just a scene I'd like to explore and where else would meet these types of women?).
Bah! I sound like a creeper, but whatever. It's something I find attractive. I dunno. Anyone want to chime in? Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated, how to rock the style, yadda, yadda... LOL
P.S. - I know it's probably not something most girls would rock all day every day, that there's work involved in getting the look down. Weekends, nights out? Sign me up.
