MetalDays 2013

I'm back from Europe. What an amazing trip and experience. Slovenia is such a beautiful country. I'll try to get some pictures uploaded to here later. Those of you who are my friends on FB, they're all uploaded there.

In the less than 24 hours, I leave for my first trip to Europe. A brief stop in Helsinki, Finland before heading down to Slovenia for Metaldays. Metaldays is a week long metal festival, 104 bands on the bill. After the festival, two days in Slovenia's capital city and then one more night in Helsinki before returning stateside.

Life is good. Playing hockey, back in the gym, things are going great with this girl, possible new job on the horizon and a trip to Europe in 6 weeks.

I hope everyone out there in SG land is good, too.

Doc gave me the go ahead to resume normal activities, no dietary restrictions (not that I was being all that strict these last few days, stayed away from booze though). I mentioned getting back to the gym and he said, "Gradually."

Surgery went good, but I'm still sore as hell. After being sick last weekend, I had to get out last night, so I went and watched my hockey play a double header. They won both games (uh oh). Then hung out with the girl for a bit.

Man, do I dig her...

Well, after going all winter without a cold, I got hit with one hard this week. In fact, there's a good chance that I have mono. Not only that, I'm supposed to have my gallbladder removed on Wednesday. I'm literally falling apart. LOL

Worst part? I have tickets to the Columbus Blue Jackets game tomorrow.
