so, i'm heading back to madison to find a place to live...
today i had my first experience with priceline.com. i like it, but i'm sad to say i am a victim of temporary loss of common sense...
so they couldn't find a flight to MSN with the price I asked for, but they did find something if i raised my initial bid by $15. seeing as how the ticket i kept as an itinerary in expedia.com went up $100 before i could buy it, i was like, eh, fifteen-shmifteen, it's all good...
alas, tis not all good. apparently i agreed to a ticket only to chicago for $204. i...did...not...read.
uh, did i mention that i'll be flying in to chicago at 12midnight? that's not so bad, but the flight from chicago to madison cositng $194 before taxes is...
and then! i tried to rent a car to go from chicago to madison... oh wait, i'm only 22...
finally i settled on renting a car from Dollar and paying the underage driver charge...

I'm not on speaking terms with the ex, but she'd remember. If you go to Madison, just roll up there and pull the number off the front of the building. Fer sher there's a for rent sign up. Especially this time of the year. If not, let me know and I'll lower myself to call her. Just for you.
