I am officially in the great state of Wisconsin. Today is the first of a two day "get to know the school" process at UW-Madison. Many thanks to all that have given me advice Orali, take42, and esquire27.
Unfortunately, or fortunately depending on how you see it, I'm staying with a friend's parents and they have taken it upon themselves to play good will ambassadors for the city of Madison. I like it because I'm treated like a kid i.e. I need to be fed and how! No really, they are great for opening up their home to me, although it does cut short the time I have to explore the city.
What the hell am I talking about? The back to back meetings with profs (11 to 6 both Thursday and Friday) cuts into that time. Wish me luck.
Anyhoot, today is a "free day", the rents are going to a play, so hopefully I'm going to try and hook up with some fellow SG peeps. Thanks again for the advice!

Hope the trip is going well. Yeah, its a little chillier than usual right now. But soon it'll be outstanding. I wish I could come up and show you around. But no chance. I've got a lot of work to do. I'm sure you are in good hands. Just be sure to get out and raise some hell!!
