Ugg... the weather is sucks. Not so mucn the grey-ness as it is freezing cold, which inevitably means that I'm staying inside watching the old boob tube... Unfortunately for me it's more "tube" than "boob".
There's this show called "Boiling Points" on MTV, which puts people in annoying situations and if they are "patient" for a set time limit they are "rewarded" with $100.
The concept for the show was interesting because our society doesn't value being patient, the American attitude is aggressive and we applaud when people speak their minds. Yet, here's a show that places a monetary value on being patient even when people are being egged on. It's kind of counter-intuitive, but then again anything they do to your emtional well-being is made all better with money.
