Have you talked to a bank about a mortgage? Do you have any idea how much they will give you? It is insane. Take half of what they offer. Apparently they charge you for the rope you use to hang yourself.

We spun into a ditch at 30m/s (that's 100'/s for those south of the border). 60mph. 100km/h and we are pirouetting up I79 in West Virginia. No impact, no damage, nada. We cheered, took 5 minutes to dig the car out, then continued driving back to canada through the blizzard. About 7 hours later we assisted at the exact same accident except for these poor sods there were other cars on the road at the same time. All those firemen and they didn't even need the jaws-of-life.

Hell is other people - if there are none, you can't run into them.

Caved under VA and WV for the weekend and it was amazing (sorry infornography and isadora - it was a lightning trip. we worked thursday, drove overnight thursday, caved friday and saturday, drove overnight and sunday did laundry, cleaned house, played grownup and slept. i promise to visit some time!)

With some Clever Friends I have started work on a webzine. We should be finished the first issue by March - i will post the link when we go live. The subject is "Hating loving and loving hating people." The first topic is "strangers."

When we got married, my girl and i promised each other "a lifetime of adventure." Have you made a promise that you have never regretted - something that made your life better lived every time you made that your code of conduct?
