So, long overdue for an entry.....
We've been in Oz now for five weeks and lovin' it, now if I could get a job that would be just tickety.....
We'rre curently living in a place called Pinjarra, a little backwater but it's ideal for now. It was named Pinjarra because one of Captain Cooks men was pinned to a Jarrah tree by an aboriginal spear, how quaint.... This is what the locals say, however Wikipedia, says different.
Went to see Wolfmother last night, they were very good live, the lead singer does look a bit like "Cousin It"
Some things we have loved about Oz so far -
1. The excellent and cheap wine
2 - Drive through bottle shops
3 - Coffee chill
4 - The gorgeous winter days
5 - The city of Perth
Some things we have loved less about Oz so far -
1 - Bank charges, robbin' bastards
2 - Mobile phone companies, robbin' bastards
3 - "Sorry I didn't quite understand what you said"
4 - Being colder at night than I expected, in fact it's bloody freezing
5 - What do you mean it takes 12 months to build a house?

you sound really positive about the move, I know when I'd been here in the US for 5 weeks the homesickness started to creep up on me and the next six months were hell on earth..
I still hate the fucking banks and cell phone companies here..I even have to write cheques ffs..
