So before this journal I had the deffintion for the word 'Euphemism'. But then I started to poke around a couple of my groups and this came to mind.

1. The belief that certain persons or members of certain classes or groups deserve favored treatment by virtue of their perceived superiority, as in intellect, social status, or financial resources.

Intelligence is one thing. But when you start using lesser known words just to show others that you know what they mean you turn from being smart to being cocky and an asshole. My vocabulary(not my spelling) is probably a lot more expansive then I let on most days. But I do not constanly flaunt it just because it may create the impression that i am smarter then someone. I dont want that. I want people to understand what i say and not think i'm trying to push something in their faces. I may know a larger word for somthing with a lot more syllables. But what is the point of using it unless i'm giving some sort of speech or writing an admission essay. All that will do is cover up my point and make it harder to understand for some.

There are many people on this site who probably are twenty times as smart as i will ever be. Good for you, but quit shoving it in my damm face. I am interested in what your saying as i want to know everything by the time i die. But it puts me off comepletely if you start to sound like an elitist.

Eh, give a break to the polyverbal crowd. We're not the bad guys. It's the down-home, everyman (yet rich beyond your wildlest beliefs) conservatives who want people to remain ignorant who should be vilified... The occasional porn-consuming pseudointellectual can be an asshole, but they're harmless in the grand scheme of things.

The true test of genius is the ability to communicate with ppl on all levels, meaning you can speak comfortably with Farmer Dan, and then turn around and have an intelligent conversation with somebody of higher education, w/o making either feel uincomfortable. I fell you on that journal, but realize wvery body has their own shit going on, t's not worth it to get bent out of shape by it.

Thanks for the comment on the pics, you know you menat it in a pervy way !! hahaha, those are all from my house, I will do a real journal when I have more time.
