Maybe you should consider feverfew tea for the headache.. it works quite well. White Willow bark is another good choice, but is more for back pains and general cramps. And yes, I am still alive.. by some miracle of science.. I am the Freak who Wouldn't Die 
And while I whole-heartedly agree that tea is the drink of the Gods, and I truly love lots of different teas- when it happens to be mixed with Hops, Valerian, and/or Goldenseal, it tastes like an exception in my book
