those are nice pic. what white balance setting were you using? full sun I suppose. I tend to find myself using "shade" setting alot of the time, or shoot a second shot with the shade setting.
I would have to be more along the lines of a zen buhhdist. the idea of a all knowing all powerful god in the christian sence is criminal to me. if this god has the power to intervene when bad shit happens and doesn't, then that god is as guilty as the rapist, the murderer, etc. the whole idea of a "test" just pisses me off too. and the ultimate damning "evidence" is the design of living organisms, the whole eating and shitting thing. that's the best design "god" could come up with?
the picture of the bridge I included because I liked the picture, not because is had anything to do with liquid. I went ahead and entered one of the pictures in the contest even thougth there is a month before the deadline. I don't think I'll get much better than that without being terribly unoriginal
