i have finnally done it. i have met the most irresponcable nurse of all time.
we get dispatched to someone haveing dizzy spells and fainting. we get there and it is a transfer to the hospital to see if the dude has had a stroke. anyone will tell you there is a golden hour for every stroke victum. well the doctor was doing rounds at this crazy person lock up or some independent mental health organization. anyway we get there and we ahve to bend over backwards and touch the sky to get into the place. (go to the back door and back up down a 200 yard sidewalk to a fence) we get inside adn we meet the patient, who is laying in a puddle of urine. and complaing about how hungry he is.
well the nurse strolls in about a min later. so i ask her if she has gotten a BP on him. she says "No the doctor came by and said to take him to the hospital". which was across town. so i am takeing the blood presure and my partner is asking the nurse more important questions about vital signs. basically she said that she hasnt had time to do that cause he had only been at the place for 24 hours. then my partner asks "well could you tell me what hospital we are takeing this man too?" she then snaps back at my partner "i have already told you three times" my partner then asks "have you told me what hospital?" she says "no not you" he replied "what fucking hospital?" she told us. then the partner said "good now get the hell out of the way we are leaveing." so we went lights and siren to the hospital.
FYI the golden hour was well over. like 23 hours over.
