Well today was pretty good. I woke up and took a shower, then went to go get my hair cut so I didn't look too scruffy for the week ahead. Sadly though, the lady cut over TWO INCHES off of my hair. Safe to say I have very short hair now (if you want a pic e-mail me and I'll send you linkage).

After my haircut I was really stressed so I went home, poured myself a glass of orange juice and walked outside to have a Sherman. I was just sitting there smoking my cigarette and looking around at the trees and whatnot, whisps of smoke tickling up my arms and shirt, every once in a while taking a sip of orange juice and trying not to think about her....Iggy's right, I am the absolute worst, lol.

I then went to the mall to meet up with my friend and got some lunch at Subway, before walking around for a little while then leaving to go to a coffeehouse to meet up with my friend Mallory. She was really sad that I got my haircut, but her gay friend said it was cute, so I guess I'm doing something right, right??

While I was mixing in cream to my coffee, this kid in a Postal Service shirt said something to me, and I ended up sitting right next to him and his really nice galfriend. This kid ended up being really cool and I talked with him and his friend for quite a while, we exchanged stories about the local "scene" and he told me how much he liked my band Binary, it was cool. But yeah, it was really nice to meet another cool guy friend to hang out with, I need more guy friends in my life, I've discovered that hanging out with women too much makes me slightly sexist at times.

I drove home listening to the Whirlwind Heat cd, and now I'm leaking the new Jimmy Eat World cd, which is proving to be most excellent, a very romantic record.

*le sigh*

She'll be here in a week.........and I'm as giddy as a little schoolgirl. My lord, how do I get myself into these things??
