Major Nuit Blanche announcement this week. Starting to get ready.
Bought my skateboard today. Just a blank set, but I didn't need anything fancy, anyway. I've got to dig my old knee-pads out of storage if I'm going to get used to this thing.
Started patching up my driftwood staff. Used an epoxy putty called Quickwood to fill the unfortunate drying cracks. Next I'll sand it down nice and beautiful, give it a weather-proof stain, and it'll be ready to rock. I may decide to carve it in the future, but all things in good time.
Posted the first of what will no doubt be many craigslist ads, too, looking for a Nuit companion who skateboards and won't mind my strange sense of style and fun. Does such a girl exist? We shall see. We shall see. (p.s. probably not.)
