Well, I have a NEW new boss. Trained poorly by the one who wasn't trained well in the first place. (Kind of like when you make a copy of a copy.)
I've come to the decision that I simply can't be bothered worrying about my workplace falling down around me. I hate the place. It has nothing to offer me. And I'm not going to make any special effort to try and hold the place together. I'll just keep doing my thing while everyone else goes crazy, and if the finger of blame ever comes to rest in front of me, I have a finger of my own set aside for it. This is my stress-free plan.
In other news, I'm reading Bill Bryson's A Short History of Nearly Everything, which so far seems to be a nice little account of the history of science. It's a nice read. It shares what I'm certain are some of the lesser talked-about points of scientific history. Bryson isn't dry at all.
I'm also recently talking to a couple friends I haven't talked to in almost a year. That's a nice change. As much as I need to meet new friends, it's not so bad getting in touch with old ones. I need to renovate my social life so that it extends beyond the poker table again.
Anywho, that's my monthly update. Ha. Back to Diablo 2.
