So I spent some extra time down in Union taking care of Mari. It was nice to feel needed for once.
I hung out with Ruben one night while I was down there too.. I've come to the conclusion that we're fucking wackjobs. Our "crew" kicks mo'fuggin ass, yo. Word.
We have illin names too. Ruben is The Conductor, I'm Kentucky, Carly is The MotherFucking Carly, Mari is Salsa, and the fish was Pluggy. Yeah...I think you need to know us to realize just how absolultely stupid it is.
I spent all of today (Saturday) in the hospital with Mari because she had a really bad fever and bad stomach pains. So I just chilled at the hospital for what must have been at least 8 hours. It's not a big deal, I was looking after her, so it didn't feel like that long.
She was feeling better by the time they discharged her. Her fever had gone down a few degrees (from 103 to about 100) which is good. Hopefully all will be well for Tuesday.
I SOMEHOW managed to get two tickets to see Thursday at CBGB's from the KRock Website. Two tickets, plus convenience charge came out to a grand total of $6.34, which is pretty ill if you ask me. It should be a really good show, just because CB's is so small. I really hope they'll play "How Long is the Night?" Mmmm... my favorite song.
