I try not to get too involved in the politics of this site, but it is kinda crappy about the layoff of some of the staff photographers. I'm convinced that it was a purely financial move rather than a comment on the quality of their work and the girls they worked with, even though management said publicly it was a quality issue. Layoffs DO happen. It just sucks when it happens to good people.
That being said, there does seem to be a bit of inconsistency with the sets that are selected for the front page, and there certainly seems to be some degree of favoritism going on. A lot of really good sets, particularly from Hopefuls, are set aside in favor of lesser quality sets from established SGs - some of which were shot by the photographers they just laid off for these supposed "quality issues". So yeah, it's BS. If I were you, Hopefuls, I would suggest that the status of becoming a Suicide Girl isn't nearly what it used to be, and it certainly isn't worth the stress, disappointment, and hurt feelings. Enjoy exploring your sexuality in a creative way, but don't expect to get paid for it.

I realise you're trying to make a good point here... but you disrespect so many women who get naked as a form of expression and who may currently be hopefuls here by saying it in this crass way. It also makes me question what you actually think about women who are sexually expressive.
