So I don't think I've ever actually posted a blog in my life. And I have finals tomorrow so I prob shouldn't be on now, but which would you pick when between SG and studying? Yeah SG. Anyways I'm trying to take a more active role in SG because I read other peoples blogs and have found a lot of interesting people and I kinda wanna meet them (vitually that is). Like I said, I've also been trying to meet a lot more people on here. I've been a member for a while and never really used the site or interacted with it all that much. I'm learning and enjoying meeting all the new people since I still am very new to it.
Anyways, my weekend in a nutshell I guess. So I started the weekend out with enjoying the company of a friend who came down from DC to visit with me. Really cool girl and a lot of fun. Also a whole lot of drinking involved and totally killed my kidneys because my only fluid consumption is water and whiskey, not really anything else and I drank like 4 energy drinks to get me through class. Aparently when kidneys don't get caffine on a regular basis, they don't like it all of a sudden in large amounts. Who would have thought. Friday night was rather dull because I used the time to sleep where I had not had a full nights sleep in a long freaking time. Sat was action packed. I got up and drove to my mums to do some maintenance on my truck and then went to the "Ol' Time Fiddlers Jamboree" (a festival in her town that is a bunch of craft booths, food, and clogging, fiddling, square danceing etc..) Was good times and then I wnet ot get my Harley to prep for a ride. Ended up going back to the Jamboree that night with a cousin to help him out as a wingman for some girl he likes. Turned out great til he decided to hunt down my ex-fiance. Ended up civil. Then we went to a "Ultimate Hide and Go Seek Party" and a friends house in a giant field. Good times with old friend that I haven't seen in a decade. Got a call after the party to go help a guy who had wrecked and flipped his car 6 times so went to that. Guy was ok but where i left the house the party had been at. Aparently one of the girls who had passed out there had a boyfriend who was wanted in the next county and was looking for her. Ended up kicking in the door and fighting the owner of the place for a gun. The owner ran to my mums for help and the guy beat ont he girl and then went and chased the owner and shot at him. After he gave up chase the guy went and got the girl and literally kidnapped her. Guy was found and arrested.
Following mornign was a phenomenal motorcycle ride through some great mountain views and switchback curvy roads. loved it. Riding in tight formation on curvy roads wheel to wheel 20+ bikes deep. Its a decent rush. Totally zapped by the end of the day. Monday was pretty lax, had to make up for all the neglected school work. So my fourth was spent writing papers for this finals week. And that was my weekend. Now I'm gonna finish blog reading since I saw Kemper and Sash posted thiers. And if you haven't checked out that awesome set that Bob just posted. Must see. Anyways back to writing papers. G'night SG World.
