I hope you all heard about the Earthquake in China!!!! 12,000 dead so far..Its a humbling experience to see. Im mad that its not all over the news..and its taking back seat to hillary clinton and obama drama..12000 people dead and it seems we dont care....When 9-11 happened..it was such a world shaking event...but now that it happens in another country...it seems we dont even care..in 1976 an earthquake hit china and killed over 250,000 people...i didnt know about that....till now..We need to have a wake up call..me included..Life is soo fragile and if we think were invincible then we are fooling ourselves and if anyone thinks they are better than anyone else you fool yourself as well..We all will die one day and recently 12,000 people died at once..had everything taken from them at once...all were special though..So I wrote a poem about how I feel when I look at this story. Its not great but i wrote it ..so hope you can read how I feel through it..

It hurts to breathe
and yet who really can?
when faced with this picture
was this Gods plan?

i sit awestruck
as the death toll rolls in
12,000 dead so far
when will it end?

If only I could reach out
and help them from here
to guide the hurting hand
to shed the friendly tear

life comes at us fast
we are subject to fate
By the time we figure it out
It is already too late

So Let us hold on to
what is important today
before everything we know
is taken away
