i heard some new afi songs. and i laughed so hard i cried. the first song i heard started off innocently enough with normal qualities of hardcore music. then came the inevitable poppy shit that ive sadly learned to expect out of them these days. that started the laughter. i completely lost my shit when i heard the infusion of shit techno beats, or whatever the fuck, into the chorus. i remember back when they were "east bay hardcore" and their hair was short and like no make up was worn, the sun was out all the time and the birds were chirping... im not saying they sold out. i mean hey, people grow and change into new people all the time. im just saying its cute, and i need shit to laugh at from time to time.

AFI was hardcore before? i never knew that, i always thought they were just okay music. i like some of their stuff but i cant say i was ever a hardcore fan or theirs. BANE is awesome by theway. hehe
