I had a thought as I drove home from work this morning.
It allowed me to see and understand things in a differant ,and nerdy, way.
Being a correction officer, or any law enforcment, is like being a Jedi
We must allways guard our emotions lest we allow ourselves to tempted by the darkside
You know those stories on the news where some cop beats the hell out of somone..Darkside..
We must maintain that control on ourselves. When instinct is pulling at you, when some punk is screaming obcenites, threatning you and your loved ones..But has not yet resisted your instructions or even made a fist, you have to remain as stone. The when they do resist, you may use physical force only as long as they do, you have to go from 100mph to a complete stop in a second, no matter the amount of adrenaline flowing or how pissed off you may realy be.
And we dont even get any cool powers either
