Work and general malaise
SPOILERS! (Click to view)Ups and downs for the most part these past few weeks. Work is getting slightly annoying because of how much busier it's getting. So far for the 4th quarter we've had 3 different sets of plans for the store layout, each one comes after we've spent a shitload of time sorting it out - only for somebody from head office to visit the store and say it looks shit; resulting in another set of plans. Then they have the nerve to ask why morale is so damn low lately. Also failed a mini-audit today because we're not searching staff as often as we should be when theyre leaving, also the faulty stock file is shagged. Naturally im gonna get whinged at about that tomorrow.
I'm sure it wouldnt be so bad if i wasnt so damn tired. I need this weekend off work for the Manchester meet, and took a couple of days off early last week cos i felt like shit. This resulted in me doing a 9-day stretch. I feel a little bit pooey. Criminally i'm also a little disappointed about the meet already, because most of the people who were coming with me have had to drop out. I'm sure it'll be awesome anyway, with many Watchmen-themed nicknames banded around, its just a shame that its a smaller crowd than i expected.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)On Tuesday i went out with a girl who I'd met online not too long ago. I was a little apprehensive at first, trudging such murky waters. After a bit i realised that it wasnt overly different from going out with somebody that I'd met on here, and if that wasnt going to be an issue then neither should this. We went bowling where i'm sad to say I received a sound thrashing before going to get some food together. I think it went quite well, and i spent less time than i expected treading water since she's much prettier than I am. She's a "normie" too, with quite middle of the road tastes in music and film, which made it even more surprising that we got on. Hopefully i'll be seeing her again sometime soon, but she seems to have a pretty demanding job so I'm not sure if it'd work too well anyway. I'm not expecting anything, so I'll just see how it goes. Wish me luck, i guess
