I've just realised its March. It was around about this time last year that Huw, sick of trying to convince me this was a really awesome website beyond all the boobs, bought me a gift membership. I've been here for a year now and it really doesn't feel like it. I quickly turned from a cynical non-believer into someone who checks SG as their first internet stop of the day. Its weird that I barely ever even look at the sets anymore. Instead I've found a place with a great sense of community and I've met some really awesome people. I hope to meet many more of you in the coming year(s)

Now that the soppy bit is out of the way it's onto my usual moaning. Today was my first day in the Gamestation store I'm managing. I've not actually finished my training yet, but the area manager was in Rhyl today and wanted to meet me so I was stolen for the day. Apparently I've got 2 more days training in Wrexham until I start properly and they (probably foolishly) give me the keys to a video game store. I met all the sales assistants I'll be managing today too. It's a little weird for them to have somebody just walk in and tell them what to do but I'm sure they'll get used to it. Of the 4 I think theyre all cool except for one of them. I can really see myself having a genuine problem with him sometime in the near future. I think at least one of the other guys hates him too, mostly because of an anecdote he told last week where he matter-of-factly told people he'd hit his girlfriend during a row.

Obviously I cant fire him for that, although god knows I'd like to. That said, he seems like a complete tosser anyway so I'm sure it wont be long before he gives me an excuse to replace him with someone better.

Also, I bought Oblivion yesterday. Normally I'd make a comment like "so long, social life" but I don't actually have one so it seems superfluous
