Firstly let me say that you filthy bastards should all get to the cinema and see Borat post-haste. Before going in I was worried that the trailer/newspaper coverage would have ruined everything but dear lord was I wrong. Basically the stuff you see in the trailer is only in there because its the only stuff that wasnt stupidly offensive. I've not laughed so hard in the cinema since the South Park movie.
Last night I spent 3 hours in what was essentially "traffic school". It was my local council's new initiative which is essentially Pass Plus but you only pay 40 total instead of paying for some driving instructor vulture 20 an hour to sort it out. I've still got a 9 hour day of driving until I get reduced insurance though. Apparently I have to pair off with another person and drive for about 4 hours each with an hour for lunch. I imagine thats going to piss me off when the time comes. As for last night it was mostly spent looking at the clich slideshow of car wreck photos.
In my head all I could hear was Hank Hill talking about the movie he watched in driver's ed - "Red Asphalt" so for a lot of it I probably had a stupid grin on my face. Also, its worrying just how many people think that when somebody is coming at you with their lights on full beam; you should put yours on full beam aswell to "get them back" To think I failed my test 5 fucking times.
Thats pretty much all I've done until tomorrow when I finally get my copy of Marvel Ultimate Alliance and retreat to the comfort of a darkened room where I can throw a vibranium alloy shield at some filthy commies. I'm such a fucking nerd

My council also paid half for my pass plus. I thought that was excellent.
Fireworks: I do like "proper" displays, and the work one is free. However, these last few years I've really liked seeing the New Year's ones in London set to music.
