This past weekend I went to my first ever SGUK meet and had a really great time. I was a little bit nervous at first, especially with my bizarre train journey that involved a random girl in my carraige crying for an hour. Once I got there though, everybody was really nice and even now I'm surprised just how well I got on with a bunch of people I hardly know. Thanks to everyone for making it such a great weekend.
Dead Rising is becoming something of a chore. On my first play-through I did really well up until the end where I just couldnt go that extra mile and wound up with the shitty ending. I started playing through again, this time I've saved a shitload of people but because of poor time management its pretty much impossible for me to complete the case file. I might just work on trying to save as many survivors as possible.
In a couple of weeks the fine people at Raven are unleashing "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" on us nerds of the world. Its essentially another X-Men Legends game but with the whole Marvel Universe rather than just mutants. The prospect of a good game featuring Daredevil, Captain America and Spider-Man is just too damn exciting to me. With any luck they'll throw a demo up on Live to tide me over until I can afford it.
Another 4 more days off work until I have to go back. I'm expecting phonecalls later in the week begging me to go back early because its so busy without me there, but im feeling spiteful so fuck them
Hopefully I'll go to see Saw 3 this weekend. The franchise gets a lot of shit but i genuinely love it. I just hope my shitty holiday pay will stretch to some petrol
