I must've been especially charming on my pseudo-date on Tuesday night. There was no major awkwardness or weird silences throughout the night so it went pretty well overall. I didnt try anything because I wasnt 100% sure about her intentions and was worried that If I had the wrong idea and stuff it would've been REALLY awkward working with her afterwards.
Since then there's been the usual low-level flirting where she's said something along the lines of how it hadn't really crossed her mind until Tuesday, but she's finding herself interested now - thats why i think i must've been charming somehow. She was supposed to be coming over to my place tonight and hang out. What happens? A fucking car crash! On her way to work this morning she's managed to crash her car and total the driver's side of it. She text me when she was on her way to the hospital and said there's a bone sticking out of her back. Whether that means its actually come out through the skin or whether its just out of place I'm not sure...but since she's fractured the base of her spine in the past I imagine it probably aint good.
She told me that its just a bit sore and while she wont be in work today, its possible she'll still come round tonight. I said that its probably not worth it if shes not up to it...last thing i want is for it to get worse. I know this all seems like I'm unconcerned about her wellbeing, its just irritating cos i was kinda looking forward to hanging out with her
Now back to happy time stuff. I got my DVD of Venture Bros Season 1. I've totally fallen in love with this fucking show since Bravo started airing it. I was watching the deleted scenes earlier on and there's a bit where the supervillain "The Monarch" is on trial and doesnt seem happy at the jury being referred to as his "peers" so reels off a list of his actual peers...in there he mentions one of them being "Suicide Girl Tegan" Whether thats a reference to Tegan I'm unsure - but cool if it is.
Thats about all for now. Expect more whining in a couple of days.
