The scariest thing about the dentist is not the drilling, or the needles, or the fact they ALWAYS listen to Radio 2. The scariest thing by FAR...is that creepy code they talk in to their little helper monkeys.

I've found lately that the only way to actually figure out what is going on there is to try and listen to the tone of the dentist's voice while he's reeling off this odd code. This morning at my check-up he seemed fucking horrified. As a child I was crap with the whole oral hygiene thing - im sure i've got fillings numbering in double digits now. Today though, was the first time I've ever thought "oh shit" based on what a dentist has said.

10 months ago I was fine, he said not to bother with a check up for 10 months because they were so great. Suddenly he takes a look in my mouth and sounds like he's seen his parents step on a landmine. After some tedious treatment he practically begged me to try and cut down on the sugar. I might well die from lack of Dr.Pepper.

Plus the fuckers charged me 40 for treatment I didnt know i needed, with no warning...so I really cant afford it. I expect a call from my bank manager anytime soon.
