Tonight I was reminded how shit the pubs in Denbigh are.
I was dragged out to celebrate some girl from work pissing off to China to teach English to Chinese kids. Apparently its irrelevant that all I've said to this girl in the last 12 months was "Can I have a tie?" Had I known i'd be subjected to fat slags singing Destiny's Child on the karaoke I'd have stayed in and watched Battlestar.
Annoyed by the idiots around me and clutching my doorkeys between my fingers I fell back onto my old safety net, something my friends and I will do whenever we're slightly bored and need to build some kind of rapport with drunken idiots.
"Who would win in a fight between........."
On tonight's bill we had:
Brian Blessed vs Roy Walker
and for the main event we had
Optimus Prime & Josef Mengele vs Henry Rollins & Natasha Kaplinsky.
No matter how bored you are, you can have hours of fun thinking of ludicrous fights and arguing about the outcomes. I'd also like to apologise to everyone in the SGUK chatroom that I bothered with this very same question a little after I got home.
