this probably won't go anywhere. i'm just bored and figure i'll write. last night me and my friend went out to boston to a jazz club, wally's cafe. supposedly it's the oldest operating jazz club in the country. it was great. we saw a bit of an informal jam and then a band came in. it was a good night. works been slow this week because all the kids are off with their families, well not all of them a few are hospitalized. but either way the house has been pretty empty, it's been relaxing. i've been trying to get in touch with my tattoo artist for the past week, finally did today. he's supposed to be sending me a list of dates so i can pick out a date for a touch up. are schedules are totally opposite but hopefully something will work out soon. batgirl healed up pretty good except for one chunk were the ink was super thick an it looks like it was just too much for my skin to take. i've been reading so much lately. currently i'm reading stiff: the curious lives of human cadavers. it's all about what happens to your body when you die, mostly what will happen if you donate it to science. i want to donate mind to the body farm. haha. but yeah, i'm reading about two books a week now. i get them from Paperback Swap. it's a great way to save money. the only problem is you tend to have to wait a long time for any popular books. i have a stack of a dozen or so books to read. but all the other ones i want are so backed up it'll be months before i get a chance to get them. i keep toying with the idea of getting a kindle. i really like the connivence of them, and being such a bibliophile the idea of having a whole library with me is every appealing. however right now it's cheaper for me to get books this way, although if i can't get the books i want after i'm done reading this it would be cheaper in the long run to get them on kindle then new at the bookstore. also though, i think i like physical books. i dunno. decisions, decisions.
