I feel like writing but there's not a whole lot to write about right now so I've decided I will write random and potentially interesting things about me. Why? I have no idea other then I hope maybe people will write some interesting things about themselves as well, maybe I can get to know a few of you better.
*I am currently trying to teach myself Japanese through a combination of My Japanese Coach on DS, a book, and flash cards. Why? No reason other then I'd like to visit Japan and actually be able to speak the language. Plus Japan has an interesting culture, great history, excellent food, and beautiful women.
*My favorite movie of all time is The Bride of Frankenstein.
*My favorite authors are Kurt Vonnegut and Chuck Palahniuk. Vonnegut because I feel like he writes much like I think and I think if I had ever gotten the chance to meet him he would have understood me very well. Palahniuk because how he can take this terrible terrible people and find a way to make you like them.
*I love video games but currently only own a DS. Partly because I love Nintendo so much and partly because I'm too poor/cheap to get another system... I could afford the system but then I know I'd be buying games to often and wasting money.
*I absolutely love beer. Some of my favorites are Anchor Steam, Narragansett,Guinness, most anything by Stone, most anything by Troegs, most anything by Rogue.... ok maybe making a list will prove pointless.
*I love comic books.
*I have one brother and two sisters. I'm the oldest. My brother is 20 and my sisters are 15 and 11.
*I interned for the U.S. Marshals in Arlington, VA and lived in Alexandria, VA. During this time my favorite hobby was to get drunk before noon and go to the Smithsonian's.
*I am greatly saddened that I was born to late to enjoy the great old Sideshows.
*I have generalized anxiety disorder and work in the mental health field. This amuses me.
*Music is solely responsible for keeping me sane.
*I actually played football in high school. I enjoyed it, it was one time I could use my size to my advantage and you got applauded for hurting people (and of course those you were hurting were in that situation by choice).
*I have my own complicated and ever changing religious/spiritual views which are a large mix of stolen ideas.
