So after flipping through my new issue of Esquire, which was the 2010 meaning of life issue, I decided one of my favorite features of the magazine is the "What I've Learned". In the "What I've Learned" articles they have a famous or much achieved person give advice and thoughts on life, it's an odd set up in that the lines are answers to questions that you can't see. Anyways I though I'd write my own brief "What I've Learned:
*There is no better way to start your day then with a excellent cup of coffee.
*There is no better way to end your day then with an excellent beer.
*Exceptional beer and coffee are worth paying for.
*Take a job you love, you'll be happier making $24,000 doing something you love then $50,000 doing something you don't enjoy.
*If you look the way you want on the outside you'll feel much better on the inside. So go ahead and get that tattoo!
*Friends come and go, it's your family that is most important.
*The best thing you can collect throughout your life is stories.
*When I die I want to leave behind some good stories.
*Experience new things, go outside of your comfort zone, you'll be a better person for it..
*We're not as different as we think we are.
If you have a minute write your own "What I've Learned" for me. I could use the advice.

- Forgiving feels a lot better than a grudge ever will.
- I might regret these tattoos in time but it's far more likely that I'd regret not getting them out of fear.
- Do all you can for others, they might be having a shitty day too.
- And in the words of Regina Spektor: "People are just people, they shouldn't make you nervous."
