so today i was supposed to have a training for work. but it was cancelled due to a snow day. the organization i work for, the bridge, runs a school as well as a number of various group homes and the main offices close if worcester public closes. yesterday i had talked to my boss who had told me if this happened i should give her a call as they'd probably need my at the house. but i called and she said they should be alright. so it's a snow day for me! in a way i would have liked the work as the over time would have been nice, but on the other hand i could use an extra day off.... even after already having three off; last week was pretty crazy. i ended up in my first restraint at work and took a good kick to the ribs before that, then i spent one shift waiting with a client at the hospital. so i won't bitch. normally i'd be losing two hours today because we have staff meetings on wednesday, unless school is cancelled, but when i stayed with the kid at the hospital i picked up two extra hours. so i guess this all works out pretty well.
