Time for a bit of a rant. This doesn't really apply to anyone here but I just need to type it somewhere.
So after telling people about my job, what I do at it, and my schedule they often say "Wow, you're lucky" too which I reply "Yes, I know I'm lucky to have a job and I'm extremely lucky that I enjoy it" to...

I feel like writing but there's not a whole lot to write about right now so I've decided I will write random and potentially interesting things about me. Why? I have no idea other then I hope maybe people will write some interesting things about themselves as well, maybe I can get to know a few of you better.

i'm pretty good. i havent been on much in for a while. been busy trying to get all my hours so i can get out of hair dressing school and go up to montreal for a month. between standing up all day and stretching myself thin with extra classes has been taking a toll, so instead of coming online, i would go to sleep lol my classes are winding down, so i can spend more time doing things i enjoy, so i came on, and saw your blog. i like having to do things that make me think
So after flipping through my new issue of Esquire, which was the 2010 meaning of life issue, I decided one of my favorite features of the magazine is the "What I've Learned". In the "What I've Learned" articles they have a famous or much achieved person give advice and thoughts on life, it's an odd set up in that the lines are answers to questions...

This is a nice idea. Mine are:
- Forgiving feels a lot better than a grudge ever will.
- I might regret these tattoos in time but it's far more likely that I'd regret not getting them out of fear.
- Do all you can for others, they might be having a shitty day too.
- And in the words of Regina Spektor: "People are just people, they shouldn't make you nervous."

Picked up a shift at work today. Going in 3-10. It's funny, by the end of my work week you couldn't pay me enough to work an extra shift, but then one day later I'm happy to pick up a shift. Sure it's partly because overtime is time-and-a-half and I could really use it but it's also because I really like my coworkers and a...

i love those kind of days where it feels like you're just hanging out instead of hardcore work.
i'm happy. works fun even if it's pretty stressful. i'm making some awesome friends here. i'm getting closer with some of my family members, not that there was anything between us. and i'm making some good plans for the coming months.

nahhh everyone does things in life at different times. There is no age or qualifications to growing up. Hell I am older than you and there are still things I do and probably shouldn't or thought I would have done and haven't even made plans to.
and I am not sure one can ever masturbate enough

i think my bf keeps me young at heart. he's younger than i am, but in many ways more mature. i think you should enjoy the freedom you have at your age, and don't worry all the responsibilities will come when the time is right
it seems like once they do happen everyone's like omg what was i thinking
so today i was supposed to have a training for work. but it was cancelled due to a snow day. the organization i work for, the bridge, runs a school as well as a number of various group homes and the main offices close if worcester public closes. yesterday i had talked to my boss who had told me if this happened i should give...

i've been craving sushi badly, lately. when i was in dc i used to go for sushi almost every week. since moving back up here in may i've only gone once. problem is up here i only have a couple of friends who like it and our schedule rarely match up. i'll have to get someone new to drag along. in preparation i'm working on...

sorry i haven't been able to return peoples comments but i've been pretty busy these past few days and during my free time i've been too wiped out to string together any coherent thoughts.
anyways, i just wanted to say life's good and it's nice finally getting to know a few more people here. i love how unusual and hectic my life has become.

i don't really know what i want to write. i just figure i should write something a bit more positive. overall i'm a pretty happy person. i don't think my life is ideal and i don't think it's bad. i don't think anyone's is either. it's just a fun journey, if you're not enjoying it's time for a change. now i know it's not that...

sounds like what you do is satisfying for you and it does make a difference. it must be challenging though. kids are unpredictable, and inside they really want boundaries rules and all the things they rebel against, it's crazy.
about life advice, you gotta be you. if you're not comfortable in larger social situations, then don't force it upon yourself.
i think most of the time people give advice because they want to help someone. i've had people give me advice and act like a friend one day, later to find out "they never liked me" and thought i was a bitch. it's the inet you know? like a box of chocolates you never know what you'll get.
truth is, i have some fantastic friends i've met online, ones that have been close for years, and who have been there for me in a sense just as much as my physical friends. just depends on how lucky u get and i feel lucky
anyhow...life is not ideal for anyone, it's just this journey we're all on, this learning curve...i feel that the challenges i face day to day are always teaching me lessons about how to be more patient, or more kind. sometimes it makes me crazy, but it always makes me stronger and better....in the long run. anyhow have a good week
sorry for leaving such a long comment!

so cute.
p.s. !!!!, you know.
you don't need to explain yourself to anyone, because people shouldn't be making uninformed remarks. they should take the time to ask.
i can't wait to speak with you today. i've just come to a really great part in my book. it's probably a very unimportant part, but i loved it and how it made me think.
also, i feel a ton more awake.
