This is why this past week/end has been so great:
I won the bet. For all of you who didn't know, I owe Grant debt. So he said if I paid 800 dollars of my debt, plus rent ($300) by the 1st of July...he would buy me a brand new bed that I want from IKEA. This bet was made a week and a half ago, so basically I had two weeks to make $1,100 and I would win the bet. Well yesterday was the 25th and I completed the bet.
On top of winning the bet, I have drastically dropped the debt I owe to him down to $670. After that, I will only owe rent and utilities for occupying a room in his house, where I currently live.
To congradulate ME for winning a bet against him, he took me out to Sushi for lunch today which was nice.
We then went to Barnes & Noble where they had a "Buy 2 DVD's Get One Free" special. He told me for the third DVD, I could pick whatever I want and keep it, so I got "Crouching Tiger & The Hidden Dragon" for free!
A few days ago, my car was giving me trouble. it kept dying....well today before the tournament, I wanted to see if it would give me more trouble, but it didn't! So I was able to make it to the pool tournament and back home without any problems.
On top of that, for the first time ever, playing in tournaments, I won the 1st prize. And I played against ALL A's...(which basically means they are way better shooters than me).
I'm very pleased with things at the moment.
