I can hear creativity knocking

Inspiration accompanies it

I feel the reverberations throughout me

I long to welcome them in

I know they will take good care of me

I hear their whispers behind the knocks

I can’t find the door

I fumble around in search of a doorknob

In search of a deadbolt

In search of something I can turn

Something that will open

Something that will cease the knocking and the whispers

Something that will show me where creativity and inspiration belong

Something that will let me know what I am to do with this feeling

Something…but what?
