The river went out here yesterday.
This is when the ice breaks and the water starts flowing freely, and it's pretty impressive. About 30 miles south of here the ice jam that held through yesterday broke, and so now there is just a jam on the north end of town.
The river is feet higher than what it usually is, which also makes it look ominous, but exciting at the same time.
I took pictures but they would have to be resized to fit here so just go lurk them on my facebook, that shit's public.
