Holy hell winter showed up yesterday...
Went to work at 3 and it started snowing and never let up until sometime after I got home at 11pm, not sure when exatly. I know that by 7ish we had already gotten an inch of snow, and it actually picked up after that, basically the storm was just sitting on top of us, luckily it wasn't the real big stuff or it would have been completely different out there right now, well not completely just a much bigger pile. It's always fun when you shovel a bunch and an hour or so later you are starting to not be able to tell you even shoveled.
The holiday wasn't to bad, pretty easy day at work that will look good on the paycheck come the 15th of December, and then Friday was fun. Dad and I went hunting and walked our asses off to only see 5 deer,so I didn't get a deer this year but dad has us covered on that front so we don't have to worry about any lack of jerky and whatnot. Friday night I went out with my friend Brad and a few others to hit the brewery and see what happened, little bit of a drunk that was.
The local brewery is excellent by the way. Real quality beers made nice and fresh just a half hour drive away, just have to make sure you have your DD like we did, those beers sneak up on you compared to the light stuff. I think it was a good thing that the light stuff wasn't tasting all that great when we got back to town so I could slowly sober up as the night went on. I always forget that those nights where you start at 7pm and go to bar close can be long ones, yet I used to do that shit all the time in my early 20s, don't know how I managed that.
Work today could kinda suck with all this snow, gonna break out the winter boots today, little water proof, spiked type deal that they purchase for us for safety, that is one perk about working there, they provide the boots, and I am a couple pairs ahead as they don't wear out that quickly when you only wear them for a few months a year.
Looks like my days off this week are gonna find me inside staying warm and all of that, might do some writing, definitely some reading, and now off to see what kind of deal I can get on a TV, good old cyber Monday.

I like the winter, but I hate wearing a coat. It's so annoying! I do love my hats though!
