This is gonna be random thoughts...
Found out last night that I have a little less than a year to get sexy for one of my best friends weddings, over the years they have been together she has become a pretty good friend too. Somewhere between now and then they will become parents (they are gonna be good ones) and then the 12th of November next year they will get hitched. Kev didn't say outright last night that I will have to get fitted for a tux, but he has told me in the past that I would be standinging up there with him so I have that to look forward too as well. I like wearing tuxes so that should be fun too. Don't know what my vacation time will look like then, but I will have to take as much time as possible for it, hopefully I will be living over there then and won't have to worry about the traveling. Alls I know is that it will be a damn fun time in Grand Forks!!
Mentally I am in a really good place right now, yes somethings irritate me, but for the most part things seem to be falling into place for the future too, and I think it is because my friend Aimee told me to get a plan together for now until 2015, and I am supposed to have three possibilities together by the end of the month and then choose on New Years, and I think with my mind starting to go towards a plan the path in front of me is more visible and that makes sense now.
I am excited about the present I got Aimee for her birthday/Christmas. I found a print of a Merchant Marine recruiting poster from WWII. Aimee joined the Air Force because her Grandpa was in the Merchant Marines, and if Aimee hadn't been in the Air Force I would have never met her since she is from California and I am from Montana. I had the print framed locally and it looks fantastic so I think she is going to like it and get a little smile from it, and that's all that matters to me. Now I just gotta figure out how to safely send the big bastard.
I love this man and I love his show. This is one good reason why...
I have started to do the spastic arm movements with him and it really does put a smile on my face every time. Secretariat shows up at random times and you never know what will happen, but I love it.
I go on twitter a lot more now that I have the app on my Droid2, and I gotta say I dig it a lot more now that I do. I really enjoyed it on election night to see what all was going on. Then it's been nice too for learning who won the baseball awards, and in turn how trades and signings are going. My favorite sport is Baseball, and my love for the Braves is undying.
College Hockey is a few weeks into the season and my University of North Dakota is looking pretty good, few losses, but a strong team like I knew they would be. They are also a second half team so look out.
New Belgium brewing has a beer I enjoy, which is good because Fat Tire really doesn't do it for me but....
I love me some hoppy goodness, happiness in a bottle people.
